In the beginning...
Founded in 2017, STNDBY was created as a temporary business solution for black entrepreneurs in the South. To avoid the financial risk of hiring full-time employees, small businesses would request STNDBY daily assistants to fulfill their general office errands.
In 2021, STNDBY expanded its reach to include Local Errands and Car Service, a move that transitioned daily assistants to concierge specialists. Clients benefited greatly from the new venture, stating, "Using one service to get everything done allowed them to focus solely on growing their business."

But we didn't stop there.
ST. BARTH 2023
In 2023, STNDBY launched STNDBY Events, a full-service concierge experience for clients and their guests. By 2024, their work could be seen around the globe.
From Anguilla and St. Barts to being captured in the New York Times, the STNDBY footprint had rapidly expanded. Introduced as the first membership of its kind, STNDBY was redefining concierge with Style, Class, and Precision.
